XyW 4.12 / Windows95 bug (printing)

I'm using XyW 4.12 with Windows95 and a Laserjet IIP. When I
print using the Windows driver, the first page is fine, but the
rest of the document comes out black-on-medium-grey. If I then
start printing with page 2, it is okay but 3 onward in wrong.

I have tried replacing HPCL.DRV in Windows95 with the driver from Win
3.1, but it doesn't help. The file prints properly if I go back to Win
3.1. It also prints okay with Xy 4.015 and Win95. It also works with
XyW 4.12 and Win95 if I use the XyWrite (DOS) driver.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Is this only a Laserjet problem??
