USB--big laugh! I was just given an up-to-date computer with all of
that stuff. None of the peripherals I have (HP later printer & new
scanner) or contemplate getting use the USB. Although the computer has
3 PCI slots, none of them is used; even the brand-new top-of-the-line
high-speed modem sits in an ISA slot. I don't know what this stuff is
there for, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what hardware
needs. Perhaps to fill out feature lists in ads?
