Can't duplicate.

Now now now! Didn't the Zenmasters tell you _never_ to use scroll lock? In any
case, the problem is that there's an NI in your KBD file for the scancode for
that particular key--you don't tell us which. I'm guessing K in table
CTRL+something. Thus, 37=NI,RK (or whatever the function call is). Just edit
the KBD file (back it up first, please) to remove the NI and you will be
golden--in the DOS version at any rate. I cannot predict what the Windows
version might or might not do, but I more than suspect the NI is meaningless in
the Windows version, and that the folks in Ripkenville failed to noticed this.

Here's what I do. I simply take a little pad and _write down_ each step I take
when I do something that I intend to write a macro for. I do the same operation
several times, and then, when I am satisfied it will work as designed, I write
the XPL. I use the pfunc command, as the Zenmasters have advised. That way you
not only avoid keyboard quirks but you also avoid toggles such as TI (toggle
insert). I.e., you tell the XPL whether you want insert mode or overstrike with
those function calls.

Oh please! Avoid the bells and whistles. Put two @ signs at the place where you
left off, and when you return to the file just search for the @@s. You could
even write a little XPL macro that would open a file and search for the @@s.
Try it! Then you won't even have to ask questions like this.
