Re: OT: query regarding HTML

Kari,

I'm glad to read your comment, as I've been pondering the possible addition of a 10" Samsung S2 tablet.  I hope that meets the specs you alluded to.  But it is disappointing that they don't yet offer them with more than 64 Gb. of internal storage.  I'd like the option of having a full office suite on it and running spreadsheets, among other things.  64 Gb. is not a lot these days, and I'm advised that major apps should be run internally, rather than attempting to do that from attached extra storage.  (A plug-in SD card.)

Just parenthetically and out of curiosity, I don't suppose anyone has managed to port Xy or NB over to Android ?  Unless there is some very good emulator I don't know about ?

Hi Paul,

I think the quality of the screen is paramount. Nexus 10 has 2560×1600
resolution. You need something in this class to achieve good reading
conditions. The best big-screen iPads and Samsung tablets qualify, older
and budget gear do not. Even fine print is easily readable on good
equipment.

See this new study: [...] The results suggest that when text display
conditions are well-matched, there is no reliable difference in reading
performance between the two media. [...]
