Not sure what you're after here, Harry. Where is the output of the
file comparison supposed to be? In one of the XyWrite windows or in
a third window? If the latter, it seems to me that you just need a
file-comparison utility (of which there are many). If you want the
output to be in XyWrite, why not just use FINDDIFF or LISTDIFF in a
single session of Xy?

Can you describe more fully what you'd like to do?
