That's because there's a two-month gap in the UPenn archive at
the beginning of 2007. More precisely, there's a four-YEAR gap
between May '03 and March '07. You'll see it if you sent the
command INDEX XYWRITE to the listproc. That returns a
directory of XyWrite files available for download from the
UPenn server.

Really, though, the best way in to the archives is XySearch
(http://www.holmgren.org/Xy/Search), which includes the entire
UPenn message base (no gaps) as well as some older archives
(XyQuest Information Line, CompuServe and Henry Kiser's Word
Processing BBS). It accepts keyword searches, and can display
all posts for each year, sorted by date, subject or thread.
XySearch is the way to go.
