It's a matter of settings. You don't mean when you hold down the keys for
repeat, do you?
Anyway, there's no delay at all in my Xy4-Tame.
Find your file: \My Documents\Tame 5.1\Saved Options\XyWrite.pif.view.tam
It won't necessarily be in Tame 5.1 for you, depending on what version you
have. And the file name may not be "XyWrite.pif.view.tam" but it will be
[whatever].pif.view.tam
Send that file to me privately, and I'll see what I can see.
I've had to give up using XY4 and Tame because there is an unacceptable
delay when using keyboard shortcuts for navigating around text. Movements
assigned to single keys, such as Carl's Home and End assignments work
fine. However anything like Ctrl-leftcursor which I use to move along one
word at a time lags dreadfully. Is this anybody else's experience and if
so is there a solution?
