  I'm putting stuff in my spl file, per your message. When I put pp  it
works fine except that there is an unwanted space included after the triangle
when the substitution is performed. So I thought, let's try dropping in a
pfunc--BD in this case. Didn't work. Maybe that has to do with three-byte vs.
five-byte codes.
  Anyway, do you know anyway to avoid the extra space?
