Peter Evans wondered not long ago why anyone would
choose a xylist digest subscription. The xyW3 xpl
pgm below is as good a reason as any. If you download
the xyDi along with your other email and process it
with xyW, this little filter acts like a device that
slams down the receiver on telemarketers before they
can start jabbering.

#CUTCRAP can erase all msgs from subscribers who you
feel only make noise, and all msgs on mego topics
from any subscriber while preserving topical msgs from
the same subscriber. It stets the index, so you can
see whose msgs got zapped--if you care, and, trust
me, after few days free of braindead chatter you won't.
A fragment of my download mgr, #CUTCRAP acts only on
xyDi msgs and lets stand non-digest msgs that mention
subjects you'd rather read about elsewhere if at all. ... Ciao. 	--a
