Only the files you want textbased. You still have the command-line
search feature for all files on disk, but those you index will have the
much more powerful search & retrieve capabilities of Orbis.

Nope, extrely fast indexing, and easy to update when you edit files
already indexed, or want to add other files.

Wherever they are when you create the index is where the index will look
to retrieve their contents. If you move them, you'll have to refresh the
index.
