Re: re (fwd) ... WIN95 Flawed



I agree. It is time to keep the list focussed on XyWrite, which
means moving decisively away from the Windows-OS/2 wars. There
is no reason not to discuss one or the other OS in connection
with XyWrite, but we have had enough messages, largely juvenile,
running down one or the other. The fact remains that people have
different needs and aims, not to mention preferences, and prefer
not to be endlessly exposed to ranting. If this traffic were
distinguished for its wit or ingenuity, that would be another
matter. I am therefore requesting a voluntary truce. If one
does not eventuate, I intend to convert this to a moderated list.
 If anyone considers that undemocratic and not considerate of the
first amendment right to rave endlessly in public places under
the delusion that that is communication, they are right about the
first charge, but this is not a public place.
