It's hardly an explanation to say that XyWin is an all-around less
stable environment for XPL than either Xy4 or Xy3. But, alas, it's
true. It's why some of us long ago gave up trying to tame XyWin,
and are so heartened by the continued development (now with Dave
Erickson on board -- hurray!) of NBWin.

One thing I'd do right off (and I'm speaking now with reference to
CAPCONT.PM which you attached the other day) is to put a BX es 1Q2
as the first instruction. Might help. Beyond that, the usual
debugging technique of inserting 's at various points may help
you isolate problematic instructions. What you do after that will
be the product of your own ingenuity and persistence. In my
experience, CI commands can be extremely troublesome in XyWin.

I don't doubt it, but haven't encountered this problem myself. Are
you loading the Jumbo U2? If so, try this: DeFine some code and
issue LDPMDEF X. Is the DeFined code LDPM'd to X? Works
here.

If that's so, Morris, XyWin will have you walking on air. Good
luck!
