How this or that email client shows it is not meaningful. Examine the raw
message: Brian's sending "multipart/mixed" MIME messages, consisting of
duplicative plain text and HTML. Different email clients have different ways
of reacting to this choice, when it is presented. Best not to offer the choice
at all.
