Re: Edward Mendelson on Tamedos

Dear Robert

I had thought that it was windows 7 that was preventing me from running
Xywrite in full screen on my new pc. Ortherwise Xy seems to be running
fine in the few situations where I have used it on my new windows 7 pc.
From what I had read tamedos appeared to solve the graphics
problems for Dos programs in windows 7.  That is why I was interested in
getting it.

Do you understand *why* you would want to use it in the first place?

If XyWrite hogs your CPU, you use it; if it doesn't, you don't.

WP always hogs the CPU; XyWrite only on some machines and OpSys arrangements.
