Re: Winprint/vDos wrinkle

Use the "Utility" tab of Winprint (double clicking the program will put an icon in the taskbar; right click on that, select "configuration", and then select the utility tab).

Fill in the "files folder" field with the directory name of where you're running vdos ("c:\vdos\" in my case)  and enter the file name (#LPT1.asc) in the "file mask port".

I use the generic printer file -- this gives bold, underscore and italics.  If you use one of the Epson drivers, you'll likely get bold and italic, but no underscore.

If you prefer to print to file with xywrite (for faster results), then of course you indicate the directory and file name where you're saving the file, whatever they might be.

Can you please remind me how to do this? Also, what printer file are
you loading? (I realize you're using Xy3.)

Thanks.
