Re: The Page on Google; Search.html



Most of the pay for play search engines charge so much per hit, and the
higher your bid per hit, the higher up the list you are. conventional
marketing wisdom says that if you are not in the first three on the list,
then you are wasting your advertising dollars. I cannot imagine how a
freebie bulletin board can afford to pay anyting per hit. By the way, some
search engines reveal the amount being paid per hit. And I suppose it it an
open invitation for competitors to hit interminably and watch those nickels
and dimes add up.
