Harry:

The program you refer to (SSE2.PM) was superseded more than a year
ago by Robert Holmgren's comprehensive Global Search and Change
routine (in the XyWWWeb Jumbo U2). Global Search enables string
searching and *replacement* across files via enhanced CH, CI and CV
commands. You can search and replace across multiple filespecs
(*.txt,*.doc,myfiles*.*) on a single pass. Additionally, the OR
wildcard is supplemented with new AND and NOT wildcards, which
enable searches for files that contain string A and B but not C,
etc. Very powerful and well worth a look.
