I don't know if this is the problem, but I think both 'bc' and 'xc' shouldn't
have commas between the letters.

2. I've touted Conversions Plus in this space before. It won't convert to
SGML, but it will take an RTF file and turn it into just about anything else
Cnv+ has no XyWrite filter per se). In fact, I don't use RTF as my
"intermediate" file format; WordPerfect 5.1 preserves more information (it
sometimes even preserves Speedo fonts).

Also, there's a Win95 printer driver that takes any Windows doc (or at least
Word and
RTF) and does a print-to-file in HTML. It's a freeware file, and I'll post it
here if enough folks are interested.

Sad to say, I'm almost totally out of XyWrite now. I still use it at home for
letters, but Word is the necessary evil at work; I have legacy docs that must
be maintained, and new stuff that others must be able to read. And, sadly,
I've not had time or need to work on XyWrite macros. I have been enjoying my
role as lurker, however.
