I have it, but haven't really tried it alone or for customized
usage. It has long been the "vehicle" or underpinning for the
DFSEE self-booting CD. DFSEE (http://www.dfsee.com/) is a fairly
techie-ish tool for partition or disk manipulation, repair, and
recovery. The developer evidently chose FreeDOS because of
certain capabilities (such as access to FAT32 space) not found
in earlier DOS implementations.
