Hi Andrew..to answer you question..yes, you can check the value of the MX
default. Remember, XyWrite III Plus allows you to set the value of MX which
controls how much of the dictionary file is loaded in conventional memory. The
value can be from 10 to 64. So, to calculate how much expanded memory is being
utilized by XyWrite, subtract the value of MX from the size in K of DICT.SPL.
You should derive a pretty close value to actual expanded memory being used.
For example, if you set MX=10, then the amount going to expanded should be
(112K-10K) approximately 102K. Please let me know if you need further
