New bug?

Tim:

Okay, here's a new challenge.

Following your instructions, I created this pgm:
«SV40,Hello there»«SV45,7»JM (LeftString)BF
«PV41»/«PV42»«EX» (note the slash)

To my surprise, instead of Hello t/here I got: Hello the/here

I had put in the slash just to separate in my display the output of s/g 41
and 42.
The same error is created by other separators--even the innocuous space. But
it works fine if you use an alphanumeric (e.g., "«PV41»x«PV42»" gives
"Hello
txhere").

Any explanations?
