No, that will produce 3-byte guillemets (the wrong kind for this purpose). With
XY4.KBD loaded, you want to hit Ctrl+< (Ctrl + the "less than" key) for the left
guillemet and Ctrl+> (Ctrl + the "greater than" key) for the right guillemet.
And be sure you're in eXPanded view before trying to write these characters:
toggle Shift-F8 so that the contents of embedded "triangles" are visible.
