It would be interesting to find out why Word came to dominance (not over
XyWrite, but over other comparable editors). My shaky hypothesis is that
its due to the herd mentality of bureaucratized corporations. Or is there
some feature of word that makes it, for some use, superior to, say, Word
Perfect?
