The problems configuring Xywrite for Win2000 are primarily getting it to run
acceptably on LCD screens. Generally, this means running Xy in a window, but
making the window as large and as nearly like full screen as possible.

It's confusing, because the Program Properties (accessed by right-clicking the
desktop icon) contain things like the Font tab which have no effect on the
program in Win2000; selecting a font here is effective only when you use the
.pif to run the program under Win9x.

You can change the font, but to do so you need to access Console Properties
(right-click the icon of a running DOS program in the task bar at the bottom of
the screen.) It's not exactly intuitive. Being able to set Win9x compatibility
in WinXP may simplify some of this.

I find NT to be an easier environment in which to set up Xy. Not that it can't
be done in Win2000, but it's not as easy.
