Re: A Windows 3.1x environment

Hi all,

Due mostly to Edward's perseverance, this is a really fine addition to
general virtualization tools for legacy applications, in this case Win
3.1. By manipulating the Win31DOSBox.ini in the DOSBox folder you can at
least temporarily limit the drives seen by the system which should make
it easier to install recalcitrant applications like XyWin (which choke
easily when they see too many drives). One nice touch is the ability to
use a physical diskette for installs. If you have a diskette drive, just
put the diskette into the drive, and start the virtual machine. The
diskette shows as B: and you can use it to install from physical disks.
If you have not a diskette drive, you just put the the files in the
A-DRIVE folder, and you ready to go. And there are many more great
features to discover. Excellent work. Highly recommended. Kudos to Edward.
