Re: Speed?

Harmon,

Just what would you do with all the nanoseconds you'd save with a
Xy program that loads more quickly?

Now that we've established that you're as impatient with the slightly slower
XY4 as you are with the performance characteristics of windoozzz,
can we move on? You've made the sale!

I consult this list a couple of times a day for the resolution of real-life
XyWrite problems and in the process have made friends and
discovered how to integrate ECCO into my XyWin world, tweak
keyboard files to defeat the bugs in XyWin 4.1, compose macros I
never thought possible, and take advantage of
Quark. (And for your information, I haven't crashed XyWin and
lost a iota of data since I upgraded to 4.12 -- your mileage may
vary).

Even though I've thoroughly enjoyed this list -- and my hat goes
off to
Nathan again for establishing and nuturing it -- I've decided not
to spend much time reading these postings if I must continue to
weed out your redundant ones to find the germane ones. "Say something once," the poet
David
Byrne once sang, "Why say it again?"

Your motto -- "The fundamental delusion of humanity is that I am
in here and you are out there" -- is only half right, Harmon.
You're in here *and* out there, and I wish you'd give it a break.
