Re: XyWrite For OS/2

I e-mailed a letter to Ken Frank at the CIS ID given, pushing for OS/2 version
of XyWrite. I subscribe to a very active Internet news group on OS/2. The word
I keep reading is the following:

a) WordPerfect pulled out of the OS/2 market, and killed WP 6.0 for OS/2. WP
5.2 for OS/2 is a DOG! (I can attest to that - I have to use it here at work).

b) AMI PRO for OS/2 was just released, but is also SLOW, BUGGY, CRASH-Prone,
and generally considered a weak Beta product rather than a functional
commercial release.

c) DeScribe is the ONLY other player in the OS/2 market, but has a quirky
interface, and lacks full features that demanding OS/2 users want (footnotes,
indexing, etc).

*IF* TTG has an OS/2 version of XyWrite in existence, it would seem to be
precisely what the OS/2 market would want: a flexible, customizable, FAST, and
word-oriented writing tool.

If ANYONE is listening to this, tell the folks in Baltimore to get off the dime
and get AHEAD of the market for once! 4 million OS/2 copies sold, and STILL no
decent native OS/2 word processor!
