Ah, yes. I came across that when I was researching the Old Style/New Style discrepancies for my family history (and of course, i wrestled with them for years when I worked on encyclopedias: the history department had careful notes for calendar conversion and Slavonic transliteration, but the art and music departments went their own merry way, and had to be reminded that we had a style for this.)
Incidentally, you can read the "RFC" for the Gregorian calendar -- the papal bull Inter Gravissimas -- in three languages, including the original Latin (marred by an illiterate spelling error in the page headers), here: http://tinyurl.com/intergravissimas

On the other hand, I've found errors in publications of the Vatican Polyglot Pres (whom NO ONE claims is infallible): Deus where grmmmar calls for Deum, and an oggi (Italian) in place of Latin Omnes. -- Patricia M.
