Yes. Simply open the Xy4 file with a text editor (one that can handle long
lines). Erase the junk codes (which will be very easy to see). Save.

The Xy4 file will still be a working Xy4 file after this appendectomy. (Do
not, however, try something similar with a file written with another word
processor.)
