Re: OT: Windows backup and recovery

I have great respect for Ed Mendelson. Acronis has some serious issues with some systems. It works
for me. I have a custom-made computer with an Intel motherboard and a pair of exactly same hard
drives. I have been building my computers with a pair of same hard drives for years. I have never
had a drive failure, but if that ever happened I could easily restore a working computer. I think
quality hardware is the key to safe computing. A conservative hardware architecture and stable
software environment makes the system hum along.
