Hi Kari,

My intention with that was to send it directly to you, and not to the Xy List, but I messed up.  In hindsight though, it is one of those things that other list members might want to know about.  (These extensions are to FF as the U2 library is to Xy.)

  This is a bit alarming. I am a Firefox user and a big fan of it, and
  have even been involved in FF add-on development by volunteering to
  translate some add-ons into Finnish. A prime example is Scrapbook
  that has proven indispensable for the way I use browsers. And
  AdBlock is a very good tool that I use.

  This is going to be a major upheaval, and who knows what the real
  outcome will be. There is always the possibility to use older
  versions. It is not that risky if you know what you are doing.

    XUL based extensions.  If this is accurate, it will truly sink
    the ship.  AdBlock, NoScript, and a bunch of others that I
    depend upon will just be gone, drastically damaging the whole

    forks of FF (ESR ?  Pale Moon ?  or  _____ ?) that decide to
