All I can tell you is that the ZTree-Win file manager (identical to ZTree Bold
for OS/2, and a close but much improved clone of the old XTree for DOS), refuses
to expand to a full-size window by any method other than Alt-Enter. Desktop Icon
settings won't do it. I think there are other examples, but I spend only about
10% of my computing time in NT.
