I upgraded an old 486 system: installed a pentium chip, added memory, added
CD-ROM. Couldn't get XyWrite 4.012 to run or re-install. But there was no
indication that CD-ROM was the problem. Everything sorted itself out when I
switched the Cyrix P-200 chip to an Intel Pentium 166. I'm now using XyDOS
4.017 -- no problems at all. CD-ROM works fine too.
