Still Dead Mouse

O.K., I have followed the standard isolation procedures, and am still back at
Square One: machine-gun run-on of diamond char.s at the CM whenever the mouse
is touched at all, and rapidly shimmering, utterly non-functional XY-4 menu
bar. I had booted off a floppy. By perusing the files in the enclosed Zipfile,
you will see that anything of consequence is REMmed out, i.e. a plain vanilla
system. The captured report of "MEM /Classify" under DOS 5 shows you what was
loaded. There is no NDOS, no QEMM (any version), and no PC- KWIK cache or
RamDisk (ditto) running in this iteration of the system. But the results are
exactly the same. So what does that leave? (This did not happen with SIG.)
Ergo, XY-4 does *not* work with the Logitech Mouse Driver. I have just d/l'd
ver. 6.24 of said driver -- which is dated about two years later than the ver.
I had been using -- and we'll see if it makes any difference. I doubt it.
