LFNs in vDosPlus

In Build 2016 10.22, I have LFN=ON set, but I get the "too many letters in
filename" message when I try this from the CMline:


ne laundrylist

Also, this doesn't work:

cd "program files"

nor without the quotes.

What am I missing?
