A modification of ATEX based on what was used by the Jehovah's Witnesses people, modified for Encyclopaedia Britannica, which started using it in 1978. When I retired in '85, XY II+ was a natural (on an IBM XT). There was a Xy Users Group in Chicago which was very helpful -- a few real computer people and an assortment of writers and editors.
