http://www.ztree.com

will do. It is a great lookalike / workalike, available for both the OS/2 and
Win platforms (W95 and above). Not free, but inexpensive shareware. I got a
dual-license covering both versions for $50., from BMT Micro (a leading rep. for
Shareware products) a few years ago, which allows me to have a consistent
file-management environment on whatever platform I happen to be at the moment.
This program is still under active development by its author, with regular
enhancements being offered, and I've never had to pay anything for the updates.

There is a great deal of added functionality that XTree never had (for example,
XTree would choke and die if you tried to log a CD containing thousands of files,
but ZTree has no memory limits you are ever going to exceed), yet the interface
remains uncluttered by any of this: it won't get in your way, unlike the
overwhelming "feature-bloat" that has ruined many other much-upgraded programs;
if you knew your way around XTree, your learning curve will be near-zilch with
ZTree. I recommend it highly.

Coincidentally, I am preparing a major online article about ZTree, probably to
appear in the Dec. SCOUG newsletter, where I write an occasional column. Anyone
curious can check out the last column published, which may give you some idea of
what I'm doing there. You can find this at
