Looks like IBM Legal is trying to iron out some issues w/r/t
supporting
freeware. Assuming they do, this would eliminate the biggest hurdle
behind
corporate acceptance of Linux: the lack of 24/7 support for the OS.

Officially, IBM isn't commenting on the rumor. Also officially, IBM
stressed
that they don't see Linux as a competitor to NT in the corporate
market (but
as a help in the government & education markets). Unofficially, who
knows
how much effort IBM's putting into riding the Linux wave?

At the bottom of the page, they also mention that Lotus Notes for
Linux is
under consideration.
