Harry:
You don't need func AR, i.e., no keyboard-file workaround
is required. Func AZ (assigned to Ctrl-Shift-A in
XY4.KBD) toggles Auto-Replace on and off. When it's on,
a reverse-video lowercase "r" appears in the upper-right
corner of the screen. Any abbreviation listed in the
loaded .SPL file will automatically expand to its paired
Auto-Replacement string when a trailing space or other
separator is typed.
