There are already DOS emulators for Android. 

aDosBox is free, JPC x86 is free, DosBox Turbo is paid. The trick is to get XY in a place where the DOS emulator can find it.

I managed to get the XY4 opening screen on aDosBox but didn't have time to move beyond that. It looked like I had  to figure out keyboard and screen display configurations. A project for another time, since I am not particularly tablet oriented. But we don't have to wait for new hardware. It's here.
