Re: Win 7 64 Bit

When I bought my first Win7 machine, I found DOS programs would not run on 64-bit. I purchased a copy of Home Premium, which provides disks for both 32- and 64-bit versions. I loaded the 32-bit and XyWrite runs fine with a few quirks, although I can't get it to send to the printer.
I use Word on a XyWrite file to do that. The biggest aggravation is that XyWrite spontaneously begins to display cap letters in the middle of a sentence. I can't figure out why.

Jon,

This is disappoint to hear. I understand that XyWrite needs XP's ntvdm.exe
(and maybe other pgms like ntvdm.dll), and I wonder if just forcing those
into a System32 folder would do the trick. Unlikely.

I ordered a Win 7 64 system (Lenovo) a couple of days ago. When it arrives,
I'll try various things.

Harry
