Thanks for bringing up this idea for discussion. I'm curious about your
vision, but as a Mac user (who has preserved a DOS machine but has no
interest in Windows or Vista), I share the same concerns that Russ
articulates in the following paragraph:

I don't have a problem with the price, or a term application, so much as
with the "start-up cost" of the under-the-hood work. In other words,
time, which becomes more precious every day. But Epison might be a good
ticket for the other platforms.
