Watching this reminds me of the hundreds of hours I used to spend in the mid-1980s reading through the Xy bulletin board. And always being amazed at the new tricks I could learn. As I recall it, you Carl and R. Holmgren were the wizards teaching everyone else.
I gave up XyWrite in the late '90s because it became incompatible with all the machinery and printers in my office(s). Nevertheless, I still read or glance through many of these emails.
I'm planning to get back into it, mainly because I'm now working at home and don't have to interact with hordes of Microsoft zombies in an office.
