XyIV translate to XyWin

I have a question about XyWrite IV (at least I think it is IV). I'm trying
to convert a XYIV doc to XyWin and am finding the fonts translate strangely.
When I look at the revealed codes I see that there are many "MD6" and
"MD11." It causes the fonts to look tiny with underlines. Can anyone
enlighten me here and help me reformat so that I can actually see what is
written and change the font? Thanks,
