   I'm just catching up with the messages going back to October about
   options for getting Smart Words. I'd definitely be interested in a
   beta version in the hopes that it would solve the printer problems and
   other quirks on Xy 4. I recall having some beta versions of Xy 3 and
   they always had more features than the out-of-date alphas. I'd be more
   than happy to pay for whatever filters are required.

I am interested in trying the beta version, but not if it leaves out
footnotes, tables, etc. A fair bit of my use of XW is for preparing camera
copy of scholarly writing.
  
After having been cheated by NB several years ago, I have no interest in
any of their products, nor (if asked) would I advise anyone else to do
business with them.
