Re: W2K on VBox - update

I am not quite sure of the benefits of the latter-day W2K updates. They
may introduce conflicts and may not be of much use anyway. Instead, I
would install W2K from a CD image and add SP4 to it. In VirtualBox,
there is no need for the W2K Rollup 1 (this is needed only for VMware
installations). Then, I should examine on a case-by-case basis, any of
the latter-day updates that might improve safety or some other aspect of
the system. If a W2K setup is used to connect to the Internet, it should
at least have an up-to-date firewall. For running desktop software that
is not connected directly to the Net, W2K plus SP4 should be enough.
