dos/nv/x/z

I would like to have XPL launch Firefox then return automatically to
XyWrite, with XyWrite having Window's "focus" as the active window. This
would function like the DO command. But I can't get DO to launch Firefox.

I now launch Firefox this way:

dos/nv/x/z /c cmd.exe /c start c:\Progra~1\Mozill~1\firefox.exe 

where  holds the web URL for Firefox to go to.

But this leaves Firefox as the active window, covering up XyWrite's window.

Any help appreciated.
