FYI only: The script has a read/write error problem on my Mac running macOS 10.13.5.

The error message says:

rm: /private/var/folders/fc/j9bbmwrn3y531gqzq50txsmh0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/A6F3D4F9-A3C3-448C-A9AB-0403EDF207AA/d/vDosMac.app/Contents/vDosProgramFolder: Read-only file system

The error persists even if at the level of …T/… I give myself read/write permission for that folder and everything on down.

It isn't extensively tested. It should run (with warnings) on the forthcoming version of macOS, Mojave, but it will not run at all on the version *after* Mojave (to be released in 2019) unless someone comes up with a 64-bit version of Wineskin, which may not happen.
