WILDCARD PROBLEMS

XY-> Has anyone encountered this wildcard "bug"?

XY-> I use the W wildcard in a string of search and replaces (ci)
to convert
 -> XyWin's modes to Quarkable prefix/suffixes. Ocassionally,
the search and
 -> replace for the bold modes goes a little wacky and takes the
first search a
 -> replace candidate it finds and inserts it into every other
bolded text bloc
 -> that it counters. So, if there are a bunch of bolded names
in the text, wit
 -> the first being "John Smith," the wildcard makes every
bolded name in the
 -> text "John Smith".

XY-> Oddly, this never happens with the underlined text ().

Jack, how are you phrasing the ci?
