Hi Carlo,
I'm a little fuzzy on exactly when all the models were moved to Intel
processors. I got my wife a Mac book for her birthday in June, and
that was shortly after those models came out. The Power books came
out before that, and i'm pretty sure that they have already announced
intel versions of their power mac's. With that i think they now have
all of their laptops and desktop models using the Intel processors.
But, yes, these are Intel based machines. The previous machines were
using PowerPC processors aka PPC.
I would also agree that using an external keyboard would be
recommended for using with Xy.
